The QHotels Collection, a premier group of hotels renowned for their commitment to excellence and innovation, is thrilled to announce the go-live of the state-of-the-art TrackMan technology at two of its respected venues: Dunston Hall Hotel Spa & Golf Resort and Belton Woods Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort. Following the successful implementation of TrackMan at Oulton Hall, this cutting-edge technology, designed to enhance the golfing experience, is set to revolutionize the way golf is played and taught at these leading resorts.
The integration phase of TrackMan technology, which began earlier this year, has been meticulously planned and executed to ensure a seamless transition. The technology’s advanced radar system provides accurate game data and video analysis, enabling golfers of all skill levels to understand their swings better and improve their game. This significant investment in technology underscores The QHotels Collection’s dedication to providing the best possible experience for guests and members.
To celebrate the launch, The QHotels Collection is hosting two fantastic events; at Dunston Hall on the 6 and 7 of April and at Belton Woods on the 13 and 14 of April. These events are open to all and promise to be unforgettable days for families, golf enthusiasts, and anyone looking to get into golf.
The launch events will feature:
- Live Music and Entertainment: Enjoy the vibrant tunes spun by a local DJ, setting the perfect backdrop for a day filled with fun and excitement.
- Gourmet Food: Indulge in a selection of delicious food options available throughout the day.
- Family Zone and Activities: A dedicated family zone will ensure there’s plenty of fun to be had by our younger guests, with a variety of activities and games designed to challenge and engage children of all ages.
- Golf Skills Challenge: Golfers will have the opportunity to put their skills to the test with TrackMan technology, experiencing first hand how it can transform their game.
- Complimentary golf, range balls, custom fit sessions and more!
These launch events not only mark the introduction of TrackMan technology at Dunston Hall and Belton Woods, but also celebrate the ongoing commitment of The QHotels Collection to innovation and excellence in hospitality.
This initiative is part of a broader strategy to continually invest in and elevate the golfing experience across the entire collection. By enhancing facilities and incorporating advanced technologies, The QHotels Collection aims to set new standards in golfing excellence and guest satisfaction. The commitment to investing in our courses and services ensures that members and guests remain at the forefront of an unparalleled golf.
We are incredibly excited to bring TrackMan technology to Belton Woods and Dunston Hall,” said Keith Pickard, Golf, Health Club & Spa Director for The QHotels Collection. “These launch events are just the beginning of how we plan to enhance the golfing experience for our guests. We invite everyone to join us in celebrating this significant milestone.”
Whether you’re a seasoned golfer looking to improve your game, a family in search of a delightful day out, or simply a fan of great food and live music, these events are not to be missed.

Re Trackman at QHotels Belton Woods Hotel Golf Range. I spend at least £300 a year at the range, but I will not use it again if the Trackman installation will be the same as at QHotel’s Oulton Hall (https://yourgolfbooking.com/venues/oulton-hall/booking/bays). It is more expensive, more limiting, more complex, less choice with no provision for those who dont want to use Trackman. Specific bays have to be pre-booked and pre-paid online. You can only have 30min or 60min slots. So, even if you are the only person on the range (as is common midweek), you are still time limited. And more expensive….£5.50 for 30mins / 30 balls. Or, £12.50 for 60mins/ 100balls. So, no more just turning up for a quick pre-round warm-up. No more relaxed, casual use. However, on the “plus” side, you can pre-book 8 cans of beer for £25 and get drunk on the range, at the same time as children are playing. So much for golf etiquette! The intent appears to turn the range into an entertainment venue. It would have been so easy to keep half the bays as casual, non-Trackman bays….but then again those bays may have proven to be more popular. Finally, regarding claims of “success”, if you look at Oulton Hall’s bay booking website, and set aside the 5 bays unavailable all day, every day, the vast majority of bookable bays and time slots remain un-booked throughout most of the day. All that technology just sitting there. That’s progress!
