Harry Lincoln Ferdinand 1922- 1986
Harry Ferdinand was born in London and joined the RAF.
He was posted to RAF Spitalgate where he met his wife-to-be but the couple were split up when he was posted to India.
He returned to Grantham on demob and the couple married.
He joined Eddison Plant, Harlaxton Road, where he was cashier for 30 years.
He had a passion for cricket and played for Belton, as well as becoming a fan of Grantham CC at the London Road Ground in later years.
He worked for the Royal British Legion and was a keen cribbage player with The Three Gables team.
