Grantham Men’s Shed is a National Lottery funded charity that gives men a chance to meet and undertake woodwork, teach each other and form friendships.
Sylvia Potts said: “I have visited the gentleman a few times at the shed in Dysart park and was made to feel very welcome.
“I asked the gentleman to build me a bird’s table with a slate roof and they certainly delivered. I am very pleased with my purchase which I found very reasonably priced.
“So for any man who finds himself with too much time on this hands, why not pop in?
“You can meet others-talk man talk-learn new skills…. and don’t forget: sawdust is manglitter – as I was informed.
“The shed is also aiming to provide support for basic computer skills and happy to discuss new projects -donations of wood are also very welcomed.
