We are preparing a fabulous evening for you and your girlie friends. A Swishing (clothes swap) event filled with fashion, fun and frolics!
You’re invited to bring up to 5 high street items of good quality, clean clothing that you would like to swish (swap). So, grab those outfits; dresses, coats, jackets, jumpers and your friends and join us at the Brass & Bloom from 6.30pm to 9.30pm on Thursday 24th March to swap them for fabulous ‘new’ ones!
On arrival you’ll be greeted with a glass of punchy Pimms to get your evening started whilst relaxing in the rather splendid Brass & Bloom Lounge.
Michelle, alias Mrs Stylewright, will kick start the evening with an inspiring talk of how you can find the right colours and styles to suit you and will be on hand throughout the evening to answer any style questions.
We’ll then invite you to go and swish whilst taking the time to browse and treat yourself at the beautiful beauty, health and fashion stands, which will be with us on the evening, not to mention expert advice from hair, makeup and beauty consultants – what more could you want!
Tickets cost £15 which includes a glass of Pimms. All proceeds on the day will be going to the Belvoir Care Home based in Grantham town centre. We’re hoping to raise money to fund a garden makeover with their outside space. This will include laying down astro turf, planting perennial, easy maintenance plants, installing sensory items; a herb garden and a water feature and comfortable seating for the residents and hardworking carers to enjoy during the warmer months and create new pleasurable experiences for the residents suffering with this dreadful disease.
Dementia is an extremely cruel and heart-breaking disease. The staff at Belvoir Care home have been so loving, caring and supportive from day one and continue to be there for not only my mother but the family too, which I am most grateful for. They empathise and show compassion and respect to all of the residents, which is so important to the loved ones who are grieving.
After the times we have just been through with Covid, it’s more important than ever to support local homes who look after our loved ones and enable the residents to be stimulated and enjoy their time they have left.
We cannot wait to see you there!
