POLICE are looking for committed volunteers from the south-east of our area, to assist with the running of our highly regarded Volunteer Police Cadets.
Applicants should be willing to give up time to prepare for and run the sessions which are on a Wednesday evening at Bourne Police Station.
Cadets will be taught about the law, police procedures, drill, first aid and also learn about some of the specialist units within the Force.
They also get involved in local community events and crime prevention initiatives. To find out more go to http://www.lincs.police.uk/Join-Us/Volunteers/Volunteer-Cadets/
You don’t require any specific skills or qualifications as long as you are enthusiastic and passionate about working with young people.
Some volunteers have existing skills to share with cadets and other leaders, whilst others undergo training which, whilst developing themselves personally, will directly have a benefit to the cadets. Volunteering with our Police Cadets may seem like a challenge.
In the first instance, email Claire.Blakey@lincs.pnn.police.uk with your name, age, address and contact information (telephone number and email address) and we’ll contact you and send you an application form and further information.
