Police are sharing images of two distinctive tattoos to see if this could help someone come forward with a name to help them identify a man whose body was found at the edge of a field near to Ropsley Road (between Oasby and Ropsley) on 1 February.
Officers have carried out exhaustive inquiries to establish his identity but still need assistance from the public.
The cause and circumstances of his death, as well as his identity, are still unknown despite a number of inquiries conducted both in this country and internationally.
Police believe we have a positive sighting of him walking along the road from Aisby towards Oasby at around 8.00am – 8.15am shortly before he was found.
It is known from CCTV enquiries a number of vehicles travelled along the road that morning, and police are once again appealing for anyone who may help our investigation, including anyone who may have captured something on their dashcam.
If you recognise these tattoos and can help to identify him, please call 101 or email NSKCID@lincs.police.uk quoting incident reference number 97 of 1 February.
