Police and firefighters were called at 3.45pm yesterday (25 April) to a report of a fire in a field on Hollis Road, off Earlesfield Lane, in Grantham.
It is believed wood and trees had been deliberately ignited.
There was no damage to buildings and no injuries

PCSO Shannon Rogers said: “We would like to remind people of the dangers of starting fires.
“Fires can become out of control very quickly and can put many lives at risk unnecessarily.
“On this occasion, no persons were hurt and our colleagues at Lincs Fire and Rescue were able to attend and put it out before it caused further damage.”
