Now…………These photo’s do bring back some good memories! A bit choking really! I read earlier about Grantham due its Parade again? & read the route! & entrants! cannot be very big now! & very strange route??? ……..I hope it is enjoyed! be fantastic for the Kids if Grantham could offer what we watched like the 1981 Parades! ……..Bit unfair me saying that, But twas true! fantastic couple of hours getting our place on the High Street & be really entertained! ……………….Good luck with current parade & hope it is enjoyed!

Agree with you there on “it would be nice for the young of today to see what we had in the seventies and eighties” The Aveling Barfords parade was something to look forward to during the summer.
