Housebuilder Allison Homes has donated £500 to Lincoln Pride in Lincolnshire, where it is building homes across the region.
Lincoln Pride is a community run charity event, operated by a small team of volunteers. This year, the event is taking place in the city centre on Saturday 20th August, and will celebrate the diversity of the LGBTQ+ community, as well as draw attention to important issues.
Jason Reid, Chair of Lincoln Pride, said: “Lincoln Pride would like to thank Allison Homes for the kind donation of £500. Pride is a fantastic LGBTQ+ event that relies solely on the support from our local community in the form of sponsorships and donations, and we hugely appreciate the generous donation from Allison Homes.
“Lincoln Pride is part of the top three free events in Lincoln. It provides a main platform for a celebration of the diversity of the LGBTQ+ community with entertainment, inclusivity and fun. The event is a focus for the visibility of the LGBTQ+ community in Lincoln and surrounding areas, and provides an opportunity to draw attention to important LGBTQ+ issues.
“Thank you to Allison Homes for their incredible support.”
Samantha Hart, Sales and Marketing Director at Allison Homes, said: “We are very proud to have donated £500 to Lincoln Pride.
“At Allison Homes, a huge part of our ethos is aiding the communities amongst which we operate in as much as possible, and we are delighted to have offered our support to LGBTQ+ individuals in and around Lincolnshire.”
