Easton Walled Gardens presents the Botanical Art Exhibition,
entitled ‘Plants & Pollinators’ featuring 2 established and talented
local artists. The exhibition will host the work of Dawn Wright and Val
Littlewood; both well-respected and talented artists in their field of
botanical drawing and painting. The Art Exhibition runs from Saturday
16th February until Sunday 17th March, on our usual open days.
Guided Snowdrop Tours with garden owner, Ursula Cholmeley and
senior gardener, Ollie Ryan-Moore. will be available to book in advance
and will take place before the gardens open to the general public giving
visitors an exclusive, behind the scenes look at the snowdrops with
advice on how to grow and divide snowdrops, as well as giving tips on
naturalising your own collection.
“For many years, we have been working on extending the drifts of bulbs on the snowdrop banks, bulking up the
hellebores in the woodland walk and generally improving access and interpretation for visitors to our snowdrop
days. You can now enjoy pink cyclamen, yellow aconites and exquisite irises and crocuses mingling with single and
double snowdrops and some unusual hellebores in the woodland walk”, commented Ursula Cholmeley, Garden
Owner at Easton Walled Gardens.
Normal garden admission applies.
Free admission for Friends of Easton Walled Gardens.
