From Sunday 1st March 2015, Easton Walled Gardens in Lincolnshire is open for the season. It is fourteen years since Ursula Cholmeley began restoring this ancient 12 acre garden from a wilderness to the nationally important garden it once was.
Now, once again, it is one of England’s most treasured gardens.
KEY DATES OF THE SEASON:
MAY – Spring Courses – Flower arranging & willow weaving – These popular courses allow a small group to be creative and learn a new skill in beautiful surroundings. All refreshments and lunch included. Contact us for dates.
JULY – Sweet Pea Week Saturday 5th– Sunday 12th – The famous Sweet Pea Week will see over 100 varieties on display, largely in rows in The Pickery, but also scattered around the garden in variety of imaginative displays.
AUGUST – Dog Days – Every Sunday in August 4-6pm – take your dog for an evening stroll in the gardens. All doggy visitors to the tearoom get a free biscuit with their two legged companions’ cup of tea or scone.
SEPTEMBER – Autumn Country Market Sunday 6th September Now in its 10th year, this great family day out will see 45 stalls selling beautiful crafts. There’ll also be animals, music and lots of delicious food.
They have already begun selling their very popular autumn sown Sweet Peas. These large plants are a foolproof way for you to grow perfect summer flowers, guaranteeing you beautifully scented large flowers from early June.
