THERE were two accidents on the A6403 High Dyke at breakfast time today.
At about 7am a car collided with a stag which dashed out across the road at Easton, near Colsterworth.
Grantham firefighters had to cut away the roof of the Citroen C3 with hydraulic equipment to release the 40-year-old driver who was taken to Lincoln City Hospital with suspected whiplash injuries.
The injuries to the stag are unknown..
The road was closed following the collision to allow for recovery and clean-up work to be carried out.
About 90 minutes later, Sleaford firefighters attended a collision involving a Rover 25 and a Ford Focus at Barkston Heath.
No one was trapped, and there were no reported injuries. No action was taken by Fire & Rescue.
