After a pandemic induced hiatus, Allington’s comedy night will make a welcome return to the village hall on 26 March. There will be three professional comedians plus a compère. Our headliners will be Jonny Awsum and Bennett Arron.
They will be supported by Aaron Simmonds and compère Tony Cowards.
The doors open at 7:30pm and the show will start at 8,00pm. There will be a licensed bar throughout.
Tickets are £10 each. Entry is restricted to 16’s and over. All proceeds go to Allington Playing Field.

Jonny Awsum headlined our very first comedy night in 2016. He was superb. After building his reputation on the UK comedy circuit, where he is a regular headliner and closing act, Jonny shot to national fame on Britain’s Got Talent. His TV performances won standing ovations and unanimous praise from the judges and went viral on the internet, racking up over 50 million views on YouTube.
Following BGT, Jonny enjoyed a whirlwind 18 months including a sell-out five-star reviewed run at the Edinburgh Fringe, a starring role in his first pantomime, and tour support to both Lost Voice Guy and Tape Face on their hit UK theatre tours.
Jonny regularly pops up on TV and radio. He has featured on BBC Breakfast, GMTV, BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 5 Live and Absolute Radio.

Bennett Arron is an award-winning screenwriter, author, comedian and actor. He plays all the major London and UK clubs, including The Comedy Store, The Glee and The Stand as well as venues all around the world.
He is a regular on Radio-4, a host on BBC Radio and presenter on BBC TV and Channel 4.
Bennett’s one man show at the Edinburgh Festival has sold out in all five years that he has appeared there.
His CV includes comedy acting roles include one of the main characters in the BBC Sitcom, ALONE.
