Britain’s Got Talent winner Colin Thackery is set to perform two of his vote winning songs at Grantham’s military fund-raising concert on 22 October.
The Chelsea Pensioner, who won the TV talent contest in 2019, will repeat the song that won him the final – Love Changes Everything – and another vote winner, Wind Beneath my Wings.
The Korean War veteran is appearing at The Concert of Hope at St Wulfram’s Church with the Regimental Band of the Coldstream Guards.
“I feel sure that Colin will melt hearts in the audience as he did with the television voters in 2019,” said Neil McCorquodale for the organising committee.
“It’s going to be a wonderful night and to hear Colin accompanied by such a top regimental band will be something to remember.”
Tickets for the concert are £18 each, with children under 16 free. Seats are not numbered so guests can choose where to sit. Doors open at 6.30pm; and the concert starts at 7.30pm.
