THIS is BMARCo’s factory taken in 1973 before the decline of engineering in Grantham.
The munitions factory, later Astra, is now a housing estate off Springfield Road.

Thought you might be interested in this photo of my father (second from the right aged 19) and five biking friends taken on 14th August 1926 on Redcross Street Grantham with Castlegate behind them and the King’s School visible at that time.
It was taken before they set off for a holiday in Yarmouth.

THIS is the interior of the Isaac Newton Centre when it had recently opened in 1984.
It has since had a major facelift.
The occasion here is a fashion show in the foyer.
