This village carnival was taking place in a village near Grantham, in 1963. The village i Folkingham.
THE Tudor Rose was the former Royal British Legion club in Castlegate, appearing in the mid-1980s as the White Hart closed.
This is their football team. The picture has been sent to us by Darren Douglas Wilson, whose uncle Tony was manager and father in goal.
Does anyone know which year?
Can you name the players?

Front – Ian Mutch, Trev Walton, Scott Ashley, Mick Parkinson, F5 F6

Thought you might be interested in this photo of my father (second from the right aged 19) and five biking friends taken on 14th August 1926 on Redcross Street Grantham with Castlegate behind them and the King’s School visible at that time.
It was taken before they set off for a holiday in Yarmouth.
The bikers (and their mchines) are from the left…Reg Peatman (AJS) Tom Wright (Rudge-Multi) Harry Foster (standing) Norman Stone (Norton) Albert Kitchen (AJS) and Ralph Foster (BSA)
THIS is the interior of the Isaac Newton Centre when it had recently opened in 1984.
It has since had a major facelift.
The occasion here is a fashion show in the foyer.
