There were delays on the A1 northbound at South Witham shortly before midnight last night, due to a car fire.
An electrical fault led to the blaze, which destroyed the vehicle.
Fire crews from Grantham and Corby Glen extinguished the fire using two hose reels jets and breathing apparatus.
There were no injuries
