Police are reminding all motorists and motor vehicle owners to remember to remove belongings from vehicles or keep them out of sight before leaving them unattended.
Over the last few days reports have come in to Lincolnshire Police that vehicles have been targeted, especially in Lincoln.
The latest was reported to have occurred overnight on Saturday 9th May into Sunday 10th May when the back window on a Citroen C4 in Montague Street was smashed and a laptop and bag taken from inside.
Please remember to remain vigilant and remove or keep out of sight any items or belongings from vehicles before leaving them unattended.
Opportunistic criminals will seize an opportunity to take items from a vehicle – please don’t give them the chance.
