Dean Kightly says…
An open letter to Morrisons’ Grantham manager
Today I travelled the Fury road ( more commonly known as Wharf Road ) to that long lost place called Morrisons.
This used to be a normal journey on a Tuesday morning to pick up supplies for the following week !
We are having improvements we were told ,certain departments were closed and reopened in different locations!
Was this so when they put up prices it confused the customer ,as they didn’t remember what price it was in a different location?
Has anyone got a good word for this shop since it’s supposed improvement , please advise.
Because I find it the worst set out supermarket in the town as have most people I have spoken to .
No one I have talked to likes what they have done to the shop, the tills are so congested you cannot walk round the end of any row let alone move a mobility scooter around . There never seems to be enough till staff on at any time .
When will people understand that most shoppers over 50 years of age don’t want a machine to serve them that keeps saying ” unidentifiable item in the bagging area ” . They want a nice person to talk to them and wish them a good day.
Today I sat next to the doors and watched over 40 people leave the store with nothing in 15 minutes THATS RIGHT NOTHING AT ALL .
They just couldn’t be bothered . What are you going to do at Christmas Mr Morrisons? Because you just won’t cope at all !
We retreated to the cafe to calm down and have a coffee.
You couldn’t make it up ! For the third time in two weeks you had no cream for the coffee and one machine was broken .
Sorry what you call improvements we call disaster!
