Sweet Pea Week at Easton Walled Gardens is spectacular. Open daily from 1st-8th July, glorious displays of sweet peas, raised lovingly from seed in the greenhouses,
compliment the flowers in the meadows, roses and cream teas.
The whole garden is filled with the sights and sounds of summer.
We have grown sweet peas since 2001; the first year we grew one row. This year we will have 50 varieties including a new trial area. Regular visitors will find we have moved our sweet peas and are experimenting with new growing techniques to create drums of colour.
Visitors will find heritage, modern, scented, striped, flaked and bicolour sweet peas. Herbaceous displays fill the 80m Long Borders and Velvet Border. Throughout the garden, roses are in flower and meadows provide the wow factor attracting a variety of insects, mammals and birds amongst the grasses and wildflowers.
After exploring the 12 acres of gardens, visitors can delve into 400 years of Easton in the history room and stop for a light lunch in the tearoom.
On your way out browse the gift shop which stocks a lovely range of seasonal gifts and our own range of sweet pea seeds
